I have a question. I stopped playing 4 months ago because of my idiot self.
I was playing and I couldn't resist to check if " Ho " was blocked.
After that I just got scared to be banned and just quit.
Now I want to return, I haven't got one sign of a ban or block.
So my question is. If they block/ban you will you get an e-mail?

I send a ticket to their support but it was an auto generated message wich wasn't very clear to me.
Also it was said in team chat. I was alone. So no one should've heard me.

You get a message after you login if you've been banned.

Error 045: Your account has been suspended because of.... blabla.

If you are still able to login, all is fine.

You're not likely to get banned unless someone complains about you saying "ho". You can say anything you want in Team chat, if there's no team.

and also to add onto Quaker, even if someone who's sensitive enough to report you on the word "ho" or any other swear word in this case, the max ban you're gonna have is 3 days (72 hours)

we swear in guild chat a lot and so far no one is banned yet XD

Come back to the game. Your fears are groundless. ANet is not going to ban you for a single incident that was not reported. They have no way of knowing what you said because there is no automatic reporting. Just don't say things in local chat that you know would be cause for punishment.

yeah no worries, it's safe to come back to the game. You can get away with quite a lot before being hit with the ban stick...and even when you do get hit, it's like for three days.

I don't beleive they email you if you get banned/suspended
if I remember correctly when i was suspended i didnt get a message until i emailed them for an appeal
